East Side Fire Department

*Please note that the truck number located on the side of the vehicle is the East Side Fire Department truck ID number used for tracking maintenance on that vehicle. Communications uses a different number when dispatching the vehicles to a call. At East Side we rotate our engines from station 91 to station 92 on an annual basis to keep the wear even among our fleet. Please see the list below for a description of the dispatch ID numbers. The first two numbers represent the station that’s being dispatched. The third number represents the type of vehicle being dispatched. 3 = 1st out engine, 4 = 2nd out reserve engine and 8 = a ladder or service vehicle.
